Combat Service Support Automation Management Office (CSSAMO)

HCI created and continues to provide the SASMO training course, formerly known as the Combat Service Support Automation Management Office (CSSAMO), currently offered at the Army Logistics University (ALU). The course teaches Army Soldiers, civilians, and contractors the tools to trouble shoot STAMIS to ensure that units have fully functional hardware and software to perform their mission during peace time and at war. Our team supports classes at the school house (Fort Lee, Virginia) and at installations requiring instruction. HCI is the only entity outside of the US Army authorized to give an additional skill identifier, given to soldiers who have completed the training course.

Our instructors install and provide STAMIS software installation training on designated computers using only official, controlled/authorized software; and following the installation instructions issued with the STAMIS and associated change packages. We have established troubleshooting guides as part of our Standard Operating Procedures and use these to aid in investigating and resolving any problems. We also follow established points of interest to teach STAMIS troubleshooting and diagnostics.

HCI is fully cognizant of the dynamic and robust nature of ALU’s mission and remains committed to working with the Government to provide the best possible training support at the most affordable rates; never sacrificing quality. To this end, we have, and will continue, to provide the best quality instructors possible, reinforced by a management Team that fully enables our instructors to devote their full range of talents to the tasks at hand. This means a staff of trained professionals backed by a corporate culture and infrastructure that ensures our Team has every tool needed to do the best possible job; that risks, problems, and conflicts are identified well in advance to facilitate low/no cost remedies or mitigation; and perhaps most important of all, that processes are in place to facilitate dialogue between the HCI Team and the government to ensure we are fully cognizant of the Government’s expectations and on target with our delivery. The HCI Team remains committed to a partnership with the ALU leadership to produce the world’s best trained soldiers.
