HCI | integrated solutions sent Rae Ehlen, a member of HCI’s Storage, Retrieval Automated Tracking Integrated System (STRATIS) team, to Okinawa, Japan for the first deployment of the redesigned Stratis system.  The supply management system is used by Marine bases in Jacksonville, Florida; Hawaii; Afghanistan; Camp Lejeune, North Carolina; and Camp Pendleton, California, in addition to Okinawa.  During his eight day trip Mr. Ehlen resolved issues with the database; created a database instance for a training environment; ran successful dry runs of data conversion from the old to the re-designed Stratis system; and trained the site administrator on day-to-day operations of the database as well as trouble shooting and emergency recovery procedures.
