Lieutenant General (Retired) Thomas J. Plewes became the first three-star officer in the history of the Army Reserve on June 13, 2001. He served as Chief, Army Reserve, and Commanding General, U.S. Army Reserve Command from that date until his retirement on May 25, 2002. Prior to assuming this position, he served as Deputy Commanding General, U.S. Army Reserve Command.
Currently, Lieutenant General (Retired) Plewes is a program director for the National Academy of Sciences. LTG Plewes was the Associate Commissioner of the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, where he had responsibility for the Nation’s labor force information. He graduated from Hope College in Holland, Michigan, with a Bachelors Degree in Economics, and received a Masters Degree in Economics from George Washington University.
Lieutenant General (Retired) Roy Beauchamp former Deputy Commanding General, U. S. Army Materiel Command and the Commanding General, Tank-automotive and Armaments Command. Over the course of his thirty-seven year career with the Army he served in command and staff positions at every level including multiple tours of duty at Headquarters, Department of the Army and joint assignments supporting and working with other services.
Currently, Lieutenant General (Retired) Beauchamp serves on multiple corporate boards and as a member of Senior Advisory Groups for several companies capitalizing on his thirty-seven years of experience with the Army. LTG Beauchamp was the Senior Vice President for Domestic Operations in the Defense Business Unit of Washington Group International and the Special Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer of Washington Group International, working on Project Leader and Manager Development, prior to his departure from Washington Group International.
Rear Admiral (Retired) Leonard Vincent former Commandant, Defense Systems Management College (DSMC), Commander of the Defense Contracts Management Agency, (DCMA), and also served as the senior acquisition executive responsible for procurement policy within the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
Currently, Rear Admiral (Retired) Leonard Vincent is the Industry Chair at the Defense Acquisition University (DAU). RADM Vincent was a former Vice President at CACI International and American Management Systems and serves on the Board of Directors of the National Contract Management Association; Navy League National Capital Council; Board of Directors, NDIA Washington DC Chapter; Board of Visitors, Defense Acquisition University; Board of Directors Procurement Round Table;and as a member of AFCEA and AUSA.
